Eligibility to study the Master of Library Science is a Bachelor’s Degree like BA, BCom, BBA, BSc, BBM etc. Generally, admission to the MSc Library & Information Science is done on the basis of marks scored in the qualifying examinations. Candidates can apply online for the admission to the Master of Library and Information Science course. The course is useful for those students who wish to pursue their career in the library field. The fee for the course differs from one college to another. In the private colleges the fee is higher compared to the government colleges. Fee for the Master of Library and Information Science at Manipal University is Rs 90,000. The fee for the M.Lib in Career Point University is Rs 15,000.
