I want to know about the details of subsidy scheme of an education loan available in Union Bank of India? I am going to apply for an education loan in this bank. So, I want to know about the subsidy scheme first.

There is a scheme for interest subsidy on education loans for economically weaker section of society.
Those who satisfy the eligibility criteria will be eligible for the scheme.

Subsidy is admissible only once either for undergraduate or postgraduate course or integrated course.
Under the scheme education loan is provided without any collateral security and third party gurantee and for a maximum amount of Rs 7.5 lakshmi

Subsidy is mainly provided to students whose annual family income is less than 4.5 lakhs.
In some cases the annual income must not exceed 2.5 lakhs.
