Details of subsidy under Canara Bank Education Loan scheme?
I am about to apply an education loan in Canara Bank. I have searched alot but I didn't understood the term subsidy. I am planning for Abroad studies so I want to know about the details of this subsidy scheme. Please tell me asap.

There are schemes of Central and State government that provides subsidy to economically backward students .
Such schemes provide full interest subsidy during the moratorium period on education loans without any collateral security and third party gurantee for persuing technical /professional course in India. Students who gross annual income is upto INR 4.5 lacs are eligible for such scheme. 0.50% interest concession is provided to female students . |
