Will I get subsidy in Education Loan due to death of my father?
I have taken education loan of 2.5 lakhs and my fathers death occurs in 2013 I am regularly paying installment but want to know that will I get subsidy because my income is very low and my family income is also below 2 lakhs.

Interest subsidy is available to students belonging to weaker section of society.
Their annual family income must not exceed Rs 4.5 lakhs . Thus if you belong to such category and you annual income is below 4.5 lakhs then you can avail its benefit. 0.50% concession in interest rate is provided to female students. |
