Is government of Jammu and Kashmir giving subsidy in repayment of education loan due to flood of last year?


Hello sir, I am from Srinagar and I was taken an education loan of 5 lakh to study Engineering course from Delhi College of Engineering three years ago. I want to know is there any subsidy available by government of J&K in repayment of education due to flood in Srinagar?

It all depends on the state government or central government to compensate those who are affected due to floods. Education loan is for study purpose and after completing engineering, you can get a job and repay the loan to the bank.

Your studies at college is not affected due to floods at your home because bank has provided you the loan. Hence, your family can get any compensation, if announced by the government.
