Maths is must for MCA or either you have to do graduation in b.com,b.sc or bca to do MCA ...
so do graduation before applying MCA...!!!!

yea now you are eligible for MCA. there may be you do not have the mathematics in class 12. but as you have business mathematics in graduation and statistics paper then you are eligible for MCA.

as you have some programing knowledge then it will help you a lot to study MCA.


but as you are B.Com student i will suggest you that MBA will be better for you. because after MBA there will be a lots of scope and job opportunity. though the MBA is little bit expensive. choose the best suitable one for you.

For entrance into MCA you should need minimum of 50% with maths as the common subject in 12th.Only graduates from the following under graduate courses can go through MCA.The courses are
BCA, B.Tech, BBA and B.Sc.

So,you cannot go through the admission process.

Hi Ram Kumar I am an MCA and my point of view you are able to doing MCA in all the way.
In MCA either you passed 12th exam by math or In graduation time time any one subject is math related.
So dont worry just prepare for PRE MCA exam.

There is one math subject in BCom If you are taking math in BCom then you are eligible for doing MCA.
The is that any one subject of 12th or Graduation is math.

So Dont worry and prepare for pre MCA test.

To do MCA you should have maths at 10+2 level.So you are not elligible.You can try for M.Com,CA,CWA,etc
Courses in Mass media & Communication,IAS,etc

After B.Com you do PGDCA and then you are eligible for take the admission in MCA, Because according to government rule for master degree a post graduate degree is essiential.

It is very impressive to know that you have so much knowledge related to computers but you cant go for MCA as maths is required for it at 10+2 level.

if you dont have maths in class 12th, then you are not eligible for
mca, if you want to admission in mca, then you have to appear
the open board examination of maths. otherwise there are no

Haii for MCA you have to need math in +2 level but some university need statistics if you have not all above then you have to need a extra mathmetics paper in MCA. thank you.

You are currently doing one of the most secure and interesting course that generally people are advised to do. MCA after B.Com sounds very unusual. As you are currently doing B com and also you didn't have maths in 12th so you would not be very good in technical maths except statistics and math is very much important in MCA. Also a very good command on programming is required for further growth in computer application sector which you would lack perhaps as it's not your subject.
So, MCA after BCom would be foolishness. You are currently doing a good course and after that you can either prepare for CA(charted acc) or you can go for masters in commerce or business administration. That would be a wonderful choice in your career.

No,you are not eligible.Because you not have maths in 12th.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor's Degree of a recognized University in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate and must also have passed Mathematics and English (core or elective) at least at the Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the CBSE.
OR
BCA/BIT/BIS of a recognized University of at least three years duration with at least 50% marks.
OR
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Currently I am working as a Computer Lecturer since 1999 on the basis of MCM (Master of Computer Applications. But I need to do MCA also. My graduation is in Commerce. I did not have Maths. So What to do? that MCM is eligible for Computer Lecturer in College or not?

I recently completed b.com with 49% .& don't had maths in 2.bt l had completed one year advance diploma course in computer applications & score 75% & also completed six month ftcp (field technician &computer peripheral), i am confused. Can i do MCA?

As you have no mathematics in 10+2 you are not eligible to do MCA.
It will be better for you after completing B.Com you should do MBA which is high demanding sectors in all field.their are so many colleges to do MBA and to get admission to good college you have to clear CAT or MAT and then after you have to clear GD and PI.

Yes, students with Maths in 10+2 are eligibile to do B.Com. but preference are given to Commerce students in some colleges.
