Re: What is difference between Information Technology and Computer Science branch in Engineering? Difference between B.Tech and B.E?
IT and CS are totally different fields. Careers are different. CS graduates hardly replace IT Graduates. CS takes focus in scientific research, scientific programming, and software engineering where IT in information system and information management. Some parts are overlapping each other.
Both the courses offer different degrees. B.Tech Computer science focuses on intensive programming, mathematical skills and developing of new technologies and concepts. Bachelor of Computer Application focuses more on practical applications and technologies used in daily life. An Engineering degree is more of developing concepts and testing them, whereas Bachelor of Computer application is the study of putting these concepts to daily use. BE/Btech degrees get a better recognition when compared with BSC/BCA. All the best. |

Re: What is difference between Information Technology and Computer Science branch in Engineering? Difference between B.Tech and B.E?
IN ENGINEERING BOTH ARE SIMILAR. We can go to any software job for both degree.
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT) is the acquisition, processing, storage and dissemination of vocal, pictorial, textual and numerical information by a microelectronics-based combination of computing and telecommunications. Computer science is the study of the theoretical foundations of information and computation and of practical techniques for their implementation and application in computer systems. |

B.E. AND B. TECH. both are the same courses . B.E. BACHOLR OF ENGG.
B. TECH. is BACHLOR OF TECHNOLOGY. NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. CS AND IT ARE DIFFERENT BRANCHES. B.Tech Computer science focuses on intensive programming, mathematical skills and developing of new technologies and concepts. Bachelor of Computer Application focuses more on practical applications and technologies used in daily life. |

Re: What is difference between Information Technology and Computer Science branch in Engineering? Difference between B.Tech and B.E?
Quote:
Both branches are computer branches. The main diffrence is a computer engineer having knowledge about both the fields like software as well as hardware. And the other one is IT engineer who have only knowledge about software fields. Both engineers can apply in It sector. The computer science engineer have more scope as compare to IT engineer. Computer engineer work with programming and an it engineer work with networking, database. An it engineer can get a job of computer engineer if he choose programming fileds for future preference. No differnce between B.E. and B.TECH.Its only the updation. |

Difference between mca and computer engineering:-
mca:- **master in computer application **3year course **eligibility is under graduation in any stream and must have maths in 12th **entrance exams are there engineering:- **under graduation **4year course **eligibility is 12th with physics, chemistry and maths and above 60% marks **aieee exam for engineering you do first engineering and then mca all the best |

Re: What is difference between Information Technology and Computer Science branch in Engineering? Difference between B.Tech and B.E?
Information Technology means studying software(computer).
and Computer Science means studying both hardware and software. But these two are not so much different from each other. most of the students of CSE go in software companies. B.E and B.TECH is actually same B.TECH- Bachelor of Technology B.E- Bachelor of Engineering earlier, there is a very little difference between B.TECH and B.E. .Now they are same |

Re: What is difference between Information Technology and Computer Science branch in Engineering? Difference between B.Tech and B.E?
Dear friend,
Information Technology and Computer Science and Engineering are two different engineering branches. There is very little similarity between them. Similarity is that they both are related to Computer Technology field. CS graduates usually replace IT graduates. So, there is much demand of CS in comparison to IT. CS graduates usually focuses on intensive programming, mathematical skills and developing of new technologies and concepts while IT graduates focuses on Computer software and its developing only. |
