No you will not be eligible for admission for the MCA course. You need to have studied maths in both 12th as well as first year of B.Com. It is not a must to have computers as a subject. You need to look for other alternatives. If you wish you can enroll for MBA and choose IT as one of the areas of specialisations. You can also join for courses offered by NIIT, Aptech if you wish to make a career in this area.

Your belong from Commerce stream candidate , So It's very difficult to get admission for MCA Course . Because Every College require Mathematics as Main Subject in 12th standard (or) any one year in Bachelor degree .

So, If your having Mathematics subject in 12th standard then your eligible to get admission for MCA Course . Otherwise your not eligible for MCA Course .

MCA stands for Master of Computer Application . The duration of the Course is for three years and the Course is divided into Six semester .

MCA Course Specialization :-

-MCA in Hardware Technology
-MCA in Software Development
-MCA in System Management
-MCA in Application Software

To apply for this MCA Course you should Passed in Graduation in any discipline From recognized University . You should Compulsory having Mathematics subject in 12th standard / Graduation from recognized University .

The candidate who Completing BCA Course may also eligible to apply for MCA Course .

You have to score Minimum 60% Percentage of marks in your bachelor degree and relaxation will applicable for sc/st candidates for 5% Percentage of Marks .

The Admission for this MCA Course is based on the Entrance Examination like, All India MCA Common Entrance Test / Birla Institute of Technology Entrance Examination etc.. But Some College may also conduct own entrance Examination within the College .

The Entrance Examination is an Objective type with Multiple choice and the Examination Pattern Comprises English Comprehension / Mental Ability / and Mathematics etc..

So, If your having Mathematics subject in 12th standard then you may get admission for MCA Course .

MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications. This is a 3 year Post Graduation course in software side being offered by many of the colleges in India.

The admission for this course will be given on the basis of performance in the Entrance Exam.

There are some state level Entrance Exams to give admission for this course like
ICET
TANCET etc.

In order to get admission for this course in NITs and IITs, you have to crack NIMCET Exam.

Here is the required eligibility criteria for the candidates to join this course.

One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

The candidate should score a minimum of 50% of marks in Graduation.

It is mandatory that the candidate should have gone through Mathematics as one of the subject either at 10+2 level or at Graduation level.

As you have studied Graduation in B.Com and you don't have Mathematics even in your 10+2 level also, I am sorry you can not take the Entrance Exam to join MCA course.

However if you want to make entry into Software industry, I suggest you to join MBA course with the duration of 2 years.

The following specializations are a good choice for you in MBA course.

MBA in Systems Management
MBA in Information Technology

Popular Entrance Exams that give admission for this course are
CAT
MAT
GMAT etc.

Have good preparation for any of these Entrance Exams and get admission for MBA course in a top college.

Wish you all the best.
