Choosing a career is a very big decision. It completely depends on your interest and what you want to be in life. There are many entrance exams as suggested by others in this post and you will be eligible for all of them but as for example you can opt for regular B.Sc and take a NIIT software course and you can get a good job instead of doing B.tech with computer science. That was just an example and you will save time in this way.

you must prepare for IIT , aieee , bitsat,
vit or even srm along with state exams too
you must never be overconfident about your abilities.....
and be safe in any case and keep all your options open in any case of emergency

there are lots of engineering entrance examination after 10+2.

but the best institution of engineering in India are IITs. to take admission in IIT you have to crack IIT JEE examination. so i will tell you to prepare for this examination to take admission in IIT.

other one all india basis engineering entrance exam is AIEEE. also appear in this examination.

there are also many entrance examination fo engineering in state basis to take admission in that particular state. like for west bengal state WBJEE examination is there to take admission in engineering in west bengal state. so there must be one entrance examination for your state also. appear in that examination also.

other exams like.....aieee,vieee,manipal,bitsat are tne exams which an average student can attempt and can expect to crack it.......
to test your level just attempt a mock test from any private coaching classes or you can do it online..........it will tell you where do you stand and what is your prepairation.........

There are atleast 10-15 entrance exams you can give after your 12th as you have PCM at 12th. The list is given below with the details of the exams :-
1) All India Engineering Entrance Exam(AIEEE)
2) IIT-JEE.
3) BITS Admission Test
4) All India Common Entrance Test(AICET)
5) Indian Institute of Maritime Studies Entrance Exam(IIMSEE)
6) National Aptitude Test in Architecture(NATA)
