I HAVE MYOPIA ONLY IN LEFT EYE i.e. -1.25
IS THERE ANY PROBLEM IN JOINING NDA? AND PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT WHAT TYPE OF PHYSICAL TEST DO THEY TAKE? BECAUSE I AM NOT GOOD IN ANY OF THE SPORTS. I JUST KNOW SWIMMING.

i got eye sight problem but i got it corrected through laser surgery now i m good. can i apply?

SIR IAM SUFERRING FROM ASTHAMA SINCE LAST YEAR BUT DOCTORS HAVE SAID THAT IF I KEEP ON TAKING MY MEDICINES REGULARLY THEN ASTHAMA WILL HAVE NO EFFECT ON THE ABILITY OF MY LUNGS AND IF I REGULARLY TAKE MY MEDICINES THEN THIS ASTHAMA MAY EVEN GET TOTALLY CURED SO SIR MI ABLE TO CLEAR THE MEDICAL TEST FOR OFFICER.

NDA-National Defence Academy conducts exams to admit students.

First NDA exam is conducted for students who have completed their class 12.
ELIGIBILITY:

1.You must be a citizen of India.

2.You must be aged between 16 1/2 and 19.

3.You must be an unmarried male.

4.For army wing it is enough that you had a pass in class 12.
But for navy and airforce you need to be in science stream in class 12.

5.You need a minimum height of 157.5 cms.For airforce alone you need 162.5 cms height.


If you missed this you can write CDSE -Combined defense services examination

1.For this you need a graduation in any discipline for army
and a science or engineering degree for navy and airforce.

2.AGE LIMIT:

Army: 19 to 24

Navy:19 to 22

Airforce:19 to 23

You need to clear the exams and also pass the medical and physical tests conducted.

Every year, a number of candidates are rejected during the selection process on Medical examination. Therefore, candidates should understand all the requirements and even examined medically before appearing for it.
As you want to know about the physical standards for NDA examination for medical test which will be the third part of tests for NDA entrance, here is the physical requirements below :
Eligibility Criteria :
~ candidates should not be underweight or underweight.
~ their chest size should not be less than 81 cms.
~ they should be free from any disease or disability.
~ their height should not be less than 157.5 cms and for Air Force - 162.5 cms.
~ they should not have past records of mental disorder.
Vision Standards :
~ Uncorrected without glass - 6/6
~ Corrected with glass - 6/6

Physical standards required for NDA entrance examination like EYESIGHT, height etc.?

Physical standards required for NDA entrance examination are
as follows-

Height should be at least 157.5 cms & 162.5cms for Air Force wing.

Chest should be fully expanded. The fully expanded chest should not be less than 80cms.

There should not be any disease of bones or joints of the body.

should not be overweight or under weight. He should not have weakly constitution.

Your vision in one eye must be perfect - 6/6 eyesight. In the other eye, you could have an imperfection of 6/9, which must be correctable to 6/6.

NDA - NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY exam conducted by UPSC twice every year for entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental health.

There is certain prescribed Physical standard to be maintained for the aspiring candidate, hence a reference can be made from this attached file regarding Physical Standard.

i want to know that if a person is operated for Cystic Hygroma in neck when he was about 6 year old . then i want to know wheather he will be eligible for NDA medical fitness test or not. now not having any pain at that place ,but sign of operation is appearing till now.

exam date : 19-08-2012

eligibility
candidate should be male and unmarried.
candidate should be complete 12th class with maths and physics stream.
candidate age should be in between 16.5-19 yrs.
candidate should be Indian.

Sorry . You cant get selected into NDA with your defect . For NDA the candidate should even cant have eye sight problem
