Dear friend,

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts Combined Graduate Level Examination each year. This exam is conducted by SSC for the selection of candidates for the following posts:-

1. Junior Accountants
2. Divisional Accountants
3. Inspector
4. Sub-Inspector
5. Assistants
6. Auditors in governmental agencies

There are three stages in this exam:-
  1. Preliminary Examination
  2. Main Examination
  3. Personality Test

Eligibility Criteria:-

1)- Educational Qualification:

You should have completed a Bachelor's degree course in any stream from a recognized university.

Final Year candidates of Graduation course can also apply.

2)- Age Limits:

Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years.

There is 3 years upper age relaxation for OBC candidates, i.e., for OBC candidates age limit is 18 to 30 years.

For SC/ST candidates age limit is 18 to 33 years.

Exam Pattern:-

1). Preliminary Exam :- This Paper contains one paper which has four sections:
  • General reasoning- 50 questions of 50 marks.
  • Mathematics- 50 questions of 50 marks.
  • English- 50 questions of 50 marks.
  • General Knowledge- 50 questions of 50 marks.

2. Main Exam: This exam contains total 2 papers.
  • English- 200 questions of 200 marks.
  • Maths - 200 questions of 200 marks.

Sir/Mam,
I would like to say that for the english common error publisher is Ashok Singh plz suggest me that this book is also good for studying becoz there is lot of mistakes in the Upkar's book. Plz suggest me if this book is not than which book is best for the competitive exams.

I am a BE student i even don't have a basic idea about how to join in CBI but i love to become as a CBI officer i realy need a complete guidance to achive my task.
