They both have their own importance,its depend on you what you wanna do in future...... if u want a good job with high income and have management skill than go for MBA. otherwise if u want deep understanding of computer application and like to do technical job than go for MCA.

Both are good,but you are doing bca so mca will be better than mba for you.

Hello Friend. See no one can help you in this, until and unless you yourself have to decide your interest i.e. you have to decide yourself what exactly you want to be according to your interest. If you want to go with MCA then make one thing very clear in your mind you must be familiar with all languages and must know about all basic knowledge of computers, but if you are not enough good in that then I would suggest you to do MBA. MBA is also a good carrier opportunity for you, many of my friends are also doing MBA and some of them are getting placed in best companies with a handsome salary packages. For MBA the only thing what you need is your communication skill and you must know how to lead and manage the people in organization. You have to clear a entrance like CAT, MAT etc for MBA. Well you can't compare these two fields as they belongs to different fields. Both the line has its own importance so it is difficult to suggest which line is better. But MCA is masters of computer application which is equivalent to B.Tech on the other hand MBA is master of business administration. So if you have done graduation in non-science stream then go for MBA otherwise if you have done BCA or Bsc then go for MCA.
However the final choice is yours so select the line as per your interest rather than money.

MBA and MCA both courses are good but i suggest you if you completed your BCA then go for MCA rather then MBA....MCA giving very great opportunity for jobs.....

HI....
You are a student of BCA and you want to post graduation and confused in MBA and MCA. MBA and MCA both are good courses and both demand are good in job sector.

In MBA you have many papers of commerce and this is change subject according to BCA because in MBA you have all papers related to commerce and in BCA you study all subject of computers.

In MCA many papers will same as BCA papers and this course is easy and understandable for you.

So my suggestion to you that you will go with MCA course because After doing BCA and MCA you career is good in software sector because and you have good job opportunities than MBA.

So you do MCA after doing BCA.

These both have same criteria for the job prospective, reputation prospective and somehow salery prospective i will suggest you do MCA as you have done BCA.

i have pursuing B.C.A from distance learning and i am from bio background but in prospectus of M.C.A 10 2 maths is compulsory so can i do M.C.A with regular universities

i think you should go for MCA as your post graduation course,
it will enhance your knowledge in the IT field and you will easily get job in any of the good MNC's such as:

WIPRO

L&T, etc....
as you know that BCA+MCA is equivalent to B.Tech
so i suggest you to enhance your knowledge by learning programming languages like:
JAVA
c#
.NET
and good knowledge of C atleast
maintain good percentage so that you can do MCA from good college so that you can directly get job

Actually both courses MCA & M.Tech are good but
according to your stream MCA is batter for you.both the courses have their own advantages and job scope in both of them with IT sector coming back with a boom

but its all about what you are interested ain and what you are capable of

and also friend please keep in mind the college which you join for these courses because it plays a very important role in your career

As per your career is concerned doing Masters of Computer Application will be a good option for you. This course is very well framed and considered to be a professional degree which has much more weight age then MBA

MCA covers most of the current computer technology and give you an insight of IT companies’ framework. Now a days most of the IT companies are looking for MCA degree holders for there client facing jobs. They offer a handsome package even for freshers. In my opinion if you do MCA, obviously your market value will increase.

I will suggest you to go for MBA rather than MCA. MBA people get a lot more salary than MCA people. If you work hard and stay in the company for quite a few years then, your salary might raise to a lakh per month. But for this your quality and potential should be high. Also you must be inevitable for the company, as far as your talent is concerned. So if you have more than 50% in your graduation, then you can go for MBA admission test. Dont think that which have more jobs etc. Both have great jobs with awesome pay cheques.

now i am doing bsc-it ,,, i am doing this a aprooved or legal university( kolhan university )...a m i able to give civil servic exam after completing this ,,,if i can give then what will be my main subject because my all subject are retaled to IT(information technology)..give me answer .

MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications.

This is a 3 year Post Graduation program in technical stream being offered by many of the colleges in India.

MBA stands for Master of Business Administration.

This is a 2 year Post Graduation program in Management stream being offered several colleges, B-Schools and IIMs in India.

As per the job opportunities,

Definitely MBA candidates will be having more job opportunities than MCA candidates.

The reason being each and every business sector need MBA candidates in order to manage several business aspects like
Banking Sector
Insurance sector
Retail Sector
Telecom Sector etc.

But MCA candidates will find job opportunities only in IT companies.

They are having job opportunities in other sectors as well but very less when compared to MBA candidates.

Moreover, the boom or demand for MCA candidates may not be same in all the days.

When recession takes place, there is a chance that MCA candidates can loose their job opportunities.

For MCA people, the work environment is challenging and the salaries are huge when compared to MBA people.
