The integration of management with technology is what is generally covered in the course- MBA in Systems Management. Many leading IT firms of the private sector like Oracle, Wipro, IBM, TCS, etc offers excellent career opportunities to candidates with an MCA degree. Their roles could be

  • Development Manager, so on

In addition to this, students of MCA can also get good jobs with the Government sector. The UPSC carries out an entrance exam annually for recruiting candidates into the administration sector of the Indian Government.

Key Difference between MBA in Systems Management and MCA

While the systems specialization basically deals with system design and system development project management, MCA deals with system development. Individuals of MBA Systems basically deals with talking to customers, understanding the business requirements, convert requirements to a system design, and test the system whether it meets customer requirements. In addition to this, they also manage the system development project. A person of MCA basically does the technical piece, i.e. they develop system using tools like Java, C, and C++ etc. It is also their duty to get into other technical things like database administration, system maintenance.

Which course is better?

Students who want to pursue a management career in technology companies can opt for MBA in Systems Management and those who like pursue a technical career in software engineering and development can go for MCA course.
