Sir,

I am BE from EC branch. My DOB is 26th August 1984. Am I elegible for interview. I am waiting for GATE 2012 result. Prior to that I have 4 years of experience. May I go for any other discipline? As because your eligibility criteria is DOB should be on or after 1st Sept 1984. Please help me on this regard.

B.Sc are eligible to apply. Applicants for Physics discipline should have Physics and Mathematics up to B.Sc or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of five years integrated M.Sc. Applicants for Chemistry discipline should have Mathematics up to XII std and Physics up to B.Sc or at subsidiary and/or ancillary level in case of five years integrated MSc. Applicants in Physics and Chemistry opting to be considered on the basis of GATE Score should have a valid GATE Score in Physics and Chemistry respectively.

How to Apply:
Make two copies of the application form (click here to dowload), affix a passport size photo on each and mail to:

Anushaktinagar, Mumbai - 400 094.

The application enables you to register for the OCES/DGFS-2012 Written Test of BARC Training School (BARC TS).
In case you opt for it, a letter of admission to the Written Test Centre of your choice will be mailed to you. However, even if you do not receive admission letter, you can proceed to your chosen test center with a copy of the application and proof of mailing it. Those who wish to apply only on the basis of GATE-2012 should apply only after declaration of GATE-2012 result. Candidates who have opted to take the Science Written Test and who also wish to be considered on the basis of their GATE Score, can also submit their GATE score at a later date to the address mentioned above. All candidates who have appeared for BARC TS Written Test should mention the Application Number allotted to them while communicating their GATE score

I have 62% in my B.E final year(pune university), but sum of all semesters is less than 60%..although aggregate % differs according to the university..bcoz i contacted the university of pune and they said pune university aggregate is only final year marks as my degree certificate has awarded FIRST CLASS to me, unlike mumbai or some other universities which considers all semesters or some only 1st and last year, or some only 3rd and final year..and they award the class on their degree accordingly..but some of the unofficial links on the web suggested that aggregate means the sum of all semesters despite university norms..so can you please tell me if i am applicable for the BARC or other gov companies..please reply soon..thank you
