i am a final year ece student.. i want to join in air force. wat is the process..and what are requirements.i have 74% in b.tech ,,96% in 2 and 90 in tenth. is there any separate process to recriut girls.. plz suggest me..i have a good eyesight. and command on my subjects..i.e., electronics.

Girls are not far behind than the Boys.you cam apply for it so that you can join Indian Air Force.

To join Indian Air Force you must appear for NDA examination.UPSC conducts NDA examination twice in every year.

But you will have to meet the following criteria :

Age :16.5 to 19 years.

Educational qualification :Minimum 12th standard pass.

Nationality :Indian.

I think you have all these.
Then do not waste your time start to prepare for NDA.

Yes girls can also be recruited in air force through direct interview as you must have mathematics at 10+2 level and you must be a graduate.

Definitely even girls can join the IAF,provided they meet the required elgibility criteria.
Girls can join in the Flying Branch as Pilot through SSC for which graduation with 60% is essential with PCM at 10+2 level.Age limit is 19 to 23years.
Advertisements are published in March and September Every Year.

Girls can also apply in the technical branch as Aeronautical Engineers(Electronics)&(Mechanical).Engineering degree in relevant branches with 60% is essential.Final years too are eligible provided they can produce the documents 15 days before training.18 to 28 years is the Age limit .

Meteorological Branch is also open to girls.Eligibility is PG in Science / Geography Or MCA (Provided Maths and Physics were taken at graduation level for both PGs & MCAs)
OR
o M Tech in Atmospheric Science from IIT Delhi with 50 % and above marks”
Age limit is 20 to 25 years.

Yes!!!, girls can join the Indian air force,but after the completion of their graduation in science with subjects PHYSICS & MATHS.
Girls can apply in Indian air force through the COMBINED DEFENSE SERVICES EXAMINATION[CDSE].
For appear in this examination, you must have graduation degree from a recognized college,.
also you must have scored at least 60% in graduation.

The age limit for this examination is 19-23 years,.
there is not the any kind of age relaxation for the any reserved category.

also must have Indian citizen ship with marital status UNMARRIED.

There are two ways to enter in to Indian Navy.

Combined Defense Service(CDS)

National Defense Academy(NDA)

The Maximum Age limit for NDA is 19years.

Of course you can give the exam. The recent change in rules permit the girls to give the exam even.

After passing class 12 exam you can give the NDA entrance exam for which your age should be between 16.5-19 years.

A girl candidate is eligibile to join Indian Air Force.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Air force: -

1. For Flying (Pilot) -

She must have passed graduation in any stream with at least minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized institute / university.

She must have passed Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 standard.

Age = not be more than 22 years of age.


2. For Metrological Branch -

She must have passed Post Graduation in Science / Geography / MCA with at least minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a recognized institute / university.

She must have passed Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 standard.

Age = not be more than 27 years of age.

You can begin your Air Force joining process, by sending your application for the relevant branch. They will scan your application, and based on merit, will call you to one of their selection boards. Candidates short-listed after the initial selection procedure, will go through a rigorous training regimen at one of the Air Force training establishments. After which they are given a short service commission as officers and posted at any of the Air Force Stations.

Yes,girls can definitely join in indian air force.To join in indian air force the minimum required educational qualification is completion of 12th or equivalent from a recognized institute/board.

You need to appear NDA exam after 12th to join in indian air force.If you have qualified in the NDA exam you can join in the indian army.

If you are a B.E graduate,then you can appear for the CDS exam and after qualifying in the CDS exam you can join in the indian air force.
