There will be merit seats and management seats for MDS courses offered at various colleges in Karnataka. PGCET is conducted to admit candidates in government seats under the merit quota. Candidates will be admitted to these colleges according to their score obtained in this exam.

Date of PGCET Entrance Exam 2012 is 12 February 2012

The government of Karnataka has decided to held the PGCET Exam for the 2012 academic year for securing the admission in for admission into Ist year M.E./M.Tech./M.Pharm./M.Arch./M.Plg.

PGCET Entrance Exam 2012 Important Dates:

PGCET Entrance test for MDS courses: 12 February 2012
Staring date of availability of application forms: 4th Week of November, 2011
Last date of receiving application forms by post: 3rd Week of November, 2011
Last date of receiving application forms in person: Last Week of November, 2011

this year exam date has been over.so you have to apply the next year 2013. you have to see the regular notification in this site: www.rguhs.ac.in

Eligibility Criteria for PGCET :
you should possess BDS degree from any college recognized by Dental Council of India.

Fee structure:
Registration fee for SC / ST and Category I is : Rs.400/-
For others it is : Rs.1500/-

PGCET 2012 :

The govt of Karnataka has decided to conduct the post graduate common entrance test for the this year
This medical entrance exam conducted to provide admissions in post - graduate medical courses
it is held only in bangalore

Exam pattern :

it consists of 200 objective type questions offered one marks each with timing = of 3hrs

Eligibility :

Candidates should have an degree in BDS from any college with in karnataka recognized by the dental council of India

Fee :
registration fee for SC/ST : Rs400/-
Others :Rs.1500/-

Karnataka PGCET ME/ M.Tech Admissions test is held every year in the month of July & the application form is made available in the month of June.

How to Apply :
The application is made available ONLY on websites www.vtu.ac.in & http://pgcet.vtu.ac.in along with all related information.

Candidates have to apply as below:

download the Application Form and Admission Ticket
completely fill in the same
send the above with all required documents (all attested photocopies of documents and not to send original documents)

A D.D. of Rs. 600/- (Rs. 300/- in case of Karnataka SC/ST & Cat- 1 on production of documentary proof) drawn in favour of Member Secretary CPAC, payable at Belgaum should be sent along with the Application Form, Admission Ticket and all necessary enclosures.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE:

1) Written test will be conducted for PG Department of Kuvempu University and University of Mysore M.E./ M.Tech. courses, at various centers specified in the brochure.

2) GATE candidates with valid GATE score are given preference for admission.
They have to apply by downloading the application form along with prescribed fee; however they are exempted from appearing for the written test.
