Indian Engineering Services Exam (IES) is a premier competitive examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission ) for selecting engineers for Government of India'a organizations.

For this academic year, IES 2011 notification has been released.

Eligibility :
Academic qualifications :
-One should have completed graduation from a recognized university to be eligible for the exam.

Age criteria :
-The candidate should be in the age group of 21-30 years on the 1st August of the year of the examination.
-Age relaxations exist as per government rules.

Important dates :
IES exam 2011 notification : 8th January,2011 (Saturday)
Last date for the receipt of applications : 7th February,2011 (Monday)
IES exam 2011 Written exam date : 4th June,2011 (Saturday)

The last date to receive the applications was over. I hope you would have applied for the exam.

Publishment of notifications: January 2nd week, 2011

Last Date of submission of Application forms: February 2nd week, 2011

Dates of the Engineering Services Examination:June 1st week,2011,which will be of 3 days.


Eligibility-:

Engineering degree from a recognized institute or in their final year.

I have completed my bachelor degree in Electrical from Jadavpur University, it was a 5 year evening course also called correspondace course, shall I Eligible for IES? I am asking this question because i have applied in 2011 but no response has been made from other site, no admit card sent. How could I know after applying online that my application has been accepted on not ?
