so what is eligibility for getting admission in nift

if we pass diploma in txtile designing from other intitute then also apply for PG

i want to join nift 1 year certificate course...or Master of Fashion Management(MFM).so how can i join?i completed 2 year diploma in fashion designing from(NIFD).please help me.

NIFT is offering PG courses in Fashion Technolgy and Fashion management apart from the regulr deign courses.
NIFT is an instiute of national importance. their PG course in fashion technology is only for engineers and offer career in Garment manufacturing technology. Fashion management targets retail sector. anyone interested can apply for it...brochures are out ,for more details log on to niftindia.com....

The Offered Courses are:

1:Master of Design(MD)

2:Master of Fashion Management(MFM)

3:Master of Fashion Technology(MFT)

To take admission in those colleges you have to sit in entrance exam
According to the Eligibility criteria:

1:for Master of Design(MD)

you should pass B.Sc in Textiles & Clothing or Bachelor in Applied Arts ,Bachelor in Textile & Accessories,Bachelor in Graphics Design,Diploma in B.Arch.

2:forMaster of Fashion Management(MFM):

Graduation or Diploma in Accessory or Fashion Design or FIT from NIFT only

3:for Master of Fashion Technology(MFT)

BE /B.Tech in Textile or Computer Sc. or IT or Industrial or Electronics or Mechanical etc...

They will select through Entrance test as well as Interview.

I am doing English Honors. And I want to study Mass communication. But I am far too interested in Fashion Communication from NIFT, Kolkata.
Will it be possible?
I had a wish to do graduation in Fashion technology from NIFT. But due to some reason I could not do so.
But once again Iam giving it a second thought and after completing my graduation I would like to study Fashion Communication.
