i have done my pg degree in fine arts. and having 3 year working experience as a jewelry designer. i want to know that what is the course is suitable for me in pg at nift.
or is there are any other course at nift to improve my designing skills. i have hear about its CE courses. please give me detail about them. are they good for me and i'll be a nifty??

That is great, after completing post graduate in fine arts you have 3years of work age. This work age matters a lot. There are many course after post graduate in fine arts, You may go for field of fashion i.e., fashion designing/fashion management etc. from NIFT.
My elder sister also have completed masters in fine arts and now she pursuing fine animation course from NIFT. This course is about producing visualization,effects and illustrating still picture in motion.
So i think this field of animation has wide scope in industries.
Finally the choice is yours, so make good decision for your future.

Right now NIFT offers following courses for admission in post graduation:
-M Des.(design)
-M FT (fashion technology)
-M FM (fashion management)

You according to your qualification you are eligible for only for M Des. and M FM course because M FT would require a BTech candidate.
M Des. can fulfill your designing domain and you can easily your designing skill into it.

I will b completing my T.Y in march and I am also applying for a pg in MFM at NIFT this year. I would like to know if there is any negetive marking in the entrance tests?? How do I prepare for the test...I've been surfing a few sites and there are classes which provide postal kits. I would like to kno how helpful are these postal kits and which one should I opt for.

i am interested in the M.DES programe of NIFT but the problem is i cannot find any sample papers online or anything... if anybody knows where to find them or has a link to share... it would be of great help... ive been looking for the papers...but cannot find anything... i am interested in this design course of nift..any other similiar programe in any other college apart from NID. I am a commerce graduate and nid prefers students with a similar background for masters.. so i cannot apply for nid.
