Dear sir, if a class x student fails in 2 subjects among 6 then can he give compartment exam to pass?

In 12 I have 6 paper and I have fail in chemistry and biology but due 6 paper bio has become my addition subject how many subject I have to give compartment exam

If I fail in 3 subject is there provision of allowing me to appear in 3 subject of compartmental exam?
