Karnataka state open university through ksouvirtual offers B.Tech saying that it is approved by distance education council. But you can see the D.E.C website where a showcause notice has been put on ksou saying the tecnical courses provide by them are NOT APPROVED BY D.E.C. If you call DEC they will say that ksou is not valid. The KSOU are cheaters.

sir, i have 3 year diplomo in electronics & communication ,may i join in ksou (DEC) direct second year b.tech (EEE) ,and then after the
course completion may i join the regular college in M.E or M.TECH,it is AICTE and goverment approved or not and then where is located

KSOU is UGC approved university.

But it is not approved by AICTE.

I have attached the proof of UGC approval.

KSOU distance B.Tech is not approved by AICTE. It is approved only by UGC.

ksou is a UGC and DEC approved university for all Degrees..but they don't have any approval for technical courses like B.Tech and Diploma in Engineering.They started theirs course through study centers only..if u do any technical courses in ksou that will be in your own risk.You are not eligible for govt as well as private jobs.even MNC company's doesn't accept KSOU and RVD university degree..these courses are useless..so please don't waste your time and money for nothing..if you want a technical degree better to do AMIE from Institution of Engineers..
Institution of Mechanical Engineers,mumbai.. IETE ,ICE courses..if you want an IT or software engineering degree better to do BCA or Bsc.IT or Bsc software engineering then do MCA from any university..it is 100% valid for all types of jobs..
I have also completed B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from RVD university.. these universitity study centers are playing with our future by fake advertisement and counceling..

Karnataka State Open University B.Tech degree student can apply for the goverment job ?

KSOU is an approved university frm DEC, UGC, AICTE .... Degrees gotten frm KSOU likde BA, B.com, BCA, BSC is elgible for Govt.jobs , but its doesnt contain more value in private jobs ... KSOU was objected by DEC for running Technical courses like B.E , Diploma , etc .... But in KSOU Act 1992 , its shown dat KSOU can use any technology for education stream for students , its nw clear dat KSOU can run technical courses ...... But im nt so sure of d techinacal education running by KSOU ....
