You can join Software MNCs, private firms etc Being a B.Tech student there are a whole lot of govt services you can go for. 1. Armed forces- you can join the Indian Armed forces through the CDS entry or technical graduate entry , ground duties entry. 2.You can join nationalized banks as IT manager , this sector is fast growing. 3. You can join government organisations like DRDO, HAL, NIC & so on. 4. And keep going through Employment news , many advertisements can be found regarding need of B.Tech IT graduates for govt organisations. Best of luck. Feel free to ask if doubts remain. |

Dear Frnd..I think B-tech is better option because now a days technical courses are much better than non technical courses..But plz remember that you must work hard in B-tech for a better job...you must have excellent knowledge about your field for good placement...After btech you can do Mtech or MBA for bright future.......
Best of Luck..... |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
Yes, you can take admission to Delhi University in B.Sc with 67% marks in 10+2. Minimum eligibility for DU university is 60% marks in 10+2. So, you can apply for B.Sc in Delhi University.
From my point of with such low rank one should not go for B.Tech. Doing B.Tech from anywhere is not wise. You will have to pay a huge amount of fees for B.Tech in a private college. But it won't guarantee you placement. Cause I'm sure colleges which you will get with this rank can't have good placement. There is not less opportunity even B.Sc. If you are serious enough you will have no problem to make good career. |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
Dear friend,
Your 12th PCM score is not to much that you get addmission to best college of Delhi university. The cut off of best college of Delhi university like saint stefans college ,Hindu college their cut off is above than 90% and about average college the cut off is around 75-80%. So,i suggest you to go for B-tech course rather than Bsc course from not good college.Just try these university for your B-Tech course: *Manipal university *Lovely professional college *Amity university *Vellore institute of technology |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
To get admitted in graduate program of DU, you have to pass the entrance exam which is conducted by Delhi University every year to take admission in DU campus or any other college affiliated by DU.
After securing 547812 rank in AIEEE you can take admission in private colleges for B.Tech. but you will not be able to get admission in a good engineering college. As per your interest you can do either B.TEch or B.Sc. ,but after completing B.Sc. you can't a good job on the basis of your degree only. you have to do some professional course or higher studies after b.sc. for getting a good job. You can get a starting job after b.tech. but your rank is not too good so in my point of view you have to do b.sc. after that you can do M.tech. also if you are so interested in engeering stream. |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
Yes you can get admission in Delhi University. The admission procedure is based on merit list.
A new process for admission has been implemented by Delhi University (DU) from 2011. 1. No students shall be denied admission if he/she has not filled the online college student profile forms. 2. Filling up the online students profile form is purely optional. 3. No charges shall be collected from the students for filling up the online college students profile form. 4. All students who meet the cut-off criteria shall be admitted. On receiving the cut off marks from the various colleges, the university shall collect these and notify them through print and electronic media as per the schedule. The cut-offs will also be uploaded on the University website |

both are good and best courses both are having good scope in future but i think it should be your own decision . yes b.tech having upper hand than b.s.c. b.tech is of 4 year course and b.s.c of 3 year but when you say b.s.c from delhi university and b.tech from private college then b.s.c having a better scope first of all try for b.s.c and fill the online form from the website of delhi university and there will be no charges till you selected and if you are not in the cut-off list then do not loose hope and go for b.tech. best of luck |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
hello dear
see, firstly you will not get chance to do BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM. as minimum 80% and above marks is required to do BSc Physics in DU. but don't worry with your rank, you will get chance to do b.tech. and job opportunity is more better in btech than bsc Physics. you can take admission in the given below colleges,if you can get good AIEEE rank in the next year 1.Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology. 2.Delhi College of Engineering. 3.Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology. 4.Amity School of Engineering & Technology. 5.Northern India Engineering College. 6.Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology. 7.New Green Field College of Engineering and Technology (NGF). 8.Bharati vidyapeeth’s college of Engineering, New Delhi. etc. all the best......... |

Hi, Look B.Sc and B.Tech both can provide you with a safe future. But if you ask my opinion i would recommend you to go for B.Tech.

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
Hi
DU is the Delhi University. Its one of the largest and BEST Universities in India and so the competition to get admission in this is also very very tough. As you say that you have scored 67% in your PCM in 12th boards, I would say that its really hard that you would find any good college for the B.Sc Physics course. However, there are always second and third cut off lists which are put out when the first list fails to fill in the seats for the respective courses. So you need to wait till that time. However Please look at the DU CUT OFF List 2011 : From this you would be able to get an idea as where you stand and in which college can you get a seat in the B.Sc Physics. For any more query, Please Click Here to visit the official DU Website. Hope this helps All the best Regards |

Re: Admission in BSc Physics in DU after scoring 67% in PCM?
hello dear
as you have very less marks in your 12th board , its toug for you to get admission in colleges of du, mainly most of the colleges have high cut offs for bsc but if you are a obc or sc/st candidate there is a hope for you to get admision as cut ofs for these students are lower than general candidates, for more you can check cut off lists of colleges of du when it is announced, for more visit du.ac.in |
