The number of qualified company secretary is less then required. Following are the types of companies which has to appoint a company secretary professionals.
Companies willing to get enlisted in the stock exchange
Companies with paid up share capital of 2 crores or more

Following are the job profiles for a qualified company secretary.
Company secretary and finance officer
Company secretary and Executive officer
Company secretary and vice president
Chief Compliance officer

Apart from this, a professional can also practice independently. Companies with paid-up share capital of more than 10 lakhs and less than 2 crores are bound to take the service of a company secretary professional for compliance certificate.

you must have at least qualified +2 level of examination from a recognized board. Once you qualify the exam, you are eligible to enroll yourself for the Foundation Program.

The Foundation Program is followed by Executive Program, Professional Program and a 15 months practical training.

The fee structure of the course are as follows:

Foundation Program- Rs. 3600
Executive Program- Rs. 7000 for commerce graduates and Rs.7750 for Non commerce graduates
