what kind of job I get if I completing B.ARCH course?

Hello friend,
An Architect is the one who designs everything from buildings to landscape and even a city.The realty boom and economic resurrection in Asia have created a huge demand for trained architects. An architect could work as
Interior decorator, Urban designer, Product designer, Urban infrastructural developer, Rural planner etc.
But to be an successful architect, you must be proficient in engineering and management and will need to pursue the course from the reputed institutes .

After BArch you get jobs in constructions firms,private and goverment companies. There is lots of demand in this field so as soon as you complete you BArch you can get directly absorbed into good companies

But you job propects will increase on the basis of your experience. More experience - More Salary - Great Compananies will hire you for big projects

As an architect you will have to design buildings in such a way that they look attractive and at the same time it should be profitable for the engineer too.

yes being an architect can be much profitable in coming 10 yrs. in india as we are developing country.

there are 3 ways most probably to earn money from it
1. get a government job and then you can easily get a good salary.
2. you can open your own shop cum workshop where you can take people's home making job. AFter few years you can go for making of your own construction company.
3. get attached with a builder or a real estate company .

I've got 99 in nata and 83% in 2nd pu.In which college i might get a seat in banglore.

There are ample job opportunities for a B.Arch engineer.

They specially design the exterior design of giant building constructions.

Architecture has been a great job sector since the development of modern India. So the job prospects are vast in this field till now.

Many top infrastructure companies from abroad also hire B.Arch engineers.

You can join assistant architect or senior designer in private or Govt construction farms.
If you do the master's course in it, job prospect will increase for you.

There are lots of opportunities for a B.Arch graduate. An Architect is someone who designs the building and assists a civil engineer for construction. A civil engineer has to work in tandem with an Architect to successfully complete a project. An architect is the one who suggests the various patterns and designs of the building. They even design the interior of the buildings. They are the person who gives shape to the ideas of the customers who wants to construct a building. An architect can get a job in any private company or can even join in any of the government vacancies.

Sir, I got 97 mark in AIEEE (B. Arch) with AIR-48728 and State Rank (TN) -1746, Cagegory (GE-TN) rank -663. Now I would like to competite spot round selection (CCB) scheduled to be held wef. 11.08.2011 to 13.08.2011. On going through the vacancy position as many as 112 seats under GE category are available in various NITs and CFIs. Kindly advice, whether I can get a B. Arch seat in any one of the said institutions or not ? Sir, this may be treated as most urgent and time bound please.

Job opportunities for qualified and experienced architects will continue to increase with the rapid urbanisation.
Typically,architects find employment in architectural and construction firms,consultancies,municipal bodies,town planning agencies,landscaping consultancies,corporation offices,government departments etc.

New awareness about echo-friendly architecture,revival of traditional architectural forms,introduction of software technology in the field of architecture have all contributed to healthy trends in this field.Renovation of old historical monuments is also a challenge to the architect.

This is the field that allows for self employment also.thus the opportunities for the trained and skilled architect are many and excellent.

I am studying architecture ( 3rd year ) ... i opted for this course because i had a huge interest in designing buildings and present my creativity.
Make sure that this course is not at all easy ... many people thinks that B. Arch is a easy way to get a degree .. but note my words it is really not !!!
you need to work really hard ... have to destroy your sleeping hours. This is true that this course contains very less theory part and a lot of practical work ... so once you enjoy doing it you would love to stay awake at night and work for hours continuously.
After completing architecture course we have many great opportunities. After learning and having some experience under a good Architect one can opt for a job in any company ( private or govt. ) ... or one can start his own firm or construction business ... there are many chances of getting a job in foreign country ( like i want :P ).

In the end what matters a lot is your hard work ... every sheet you draft play an important role in describing your abilities !
