Hi,

You need a clear idea about bank exams!

BANK EXAM DETAILS

There are many posts in a bank like clerk, PO, specialist officers, assistant officers, manager etc.

For filling up the posts, the bank recruits through written exam, either individually or through IBPS, whenever their is a large no. of vacancies are available.

For Clerk, a pass in 12th standard in any stream is needed with minimum 60% aggregate.
Age should be between 18 years and 28 years.

For PO(Probationary Officers), a pass in graduation in any field is needed with minimum 55% aggregate.
Age should be between 21 years and 30 years.

For Specialist Officer, A pass in graduation in a particular stream (that will be mentioned by the bank) is needed, with or without experience.

But in each case the criteria in marks may increase or decrease from bank to bank or from one exam to other exam.

And also there is always an age and marks relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Now, types of questions in Bank exam:

In exams, the topics are--> Reasoning, Numerical ability, English, General Knowledge in banking, General awareness, Clerical Aptitude etc.

To prepare for these topics, you have to strengthen your GK base. You can also buy one or more books from market and start practicing at home. You can also join a coaching class for your betterment.

So, if you have completed your B.tech then you are eligible for PO, clerks and many posts. And if you are really interested in giving bank exams, then you have to keep yourself updated by knowing when the exams will held, any notification about exam issued by bank or not etc etc.

Read newspaper daily, the vacancies are always published in newspapers, specially 'Employment News'.
