MCA Query !!!

MCA is Master of computer application which is a post Graduation course.

For MCA you must complete your Graduation first then you have to apply for Either MBA or MCA.

Since you didn't do your graduation you are not eligible for MCA.

MCA depends upon your Graduation Subject, So choose Your Subject with brain.AND for MCA either you need to have maths in 12th class or graduation level.
So, if you do engineering you are eligible for MCA..

Eligibility Criteria for MCA (Master of Computer Applications)

> Passed with minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in any Bachelors degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities .eligible departments are BCA ,BBA ,B.SC(IT,CS),B.SC(MATH, STAT) etc.

> Having studied Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects at 10+2 level or higher level examination

After diploma you are not eligible for MCA exam.

After graduation you are eligible for MCA exam.

Sorry , sir the eligibility for MCA is graduation in BCA/BSC-IT with 50% marks. Since you are a diploma holder so you are not eligible. Firstly you have to go for BCA then to MCA.

Therefore After diploma in CSE ,you can join MCA

Sorry, there is no way to join MCA from diploma .

You can go for BE or B.TECH after diploma through the Lateral entrance exam .
For that you gave to complete BCA first.

You have to understand one thing that MCA is a Master Degree course and you can't go for Masters after Diploma .For that you have to complete bachelor degree.

No, there is not even a single option for you to join MCA. it is master's course and you are not a graduate. so it is not possible for you to join MCA. But there is a better option than MCA, go for B.tech.

Diploma holders are not eligible for the admission of MCA.

The minimum requirement for MCA is a graduated degree from recognised university

so first gain a degree and then go for MCA

You can try for correspondence course given by IGNOU ( Indra ghandhi national open university) providing u have good percentage in diploma

MCA is a post graduation course..... To join in MCA you should finish B.sc,BBA, B.Com

I have 96% at diploma at computer engineering. Also have 4.5 years of IT industry experience.. Am i eligible to do MCA at ingnou??

No dear you can't have a graduation degree because diploma is not a degree first you have completed your graduation and then you enter in MCA

i have done diploma in ece. after that, i joined in lateral entry for bca. now i'm doing final. am i eligible to study MCA?
