Re: After doing B.Com by correspondence should I do MBA in regular?
You are free to decide to pursue MBA through correspondence or regular. There is no such rule that if you have completed B.Com via correspondence then you will have to complete MBA through regular.
However I will suggest that you go for regular. This way you can get admission in some top universities in India. At the same time, several companies prefer candidates who have completed degree in regular mode. Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 2 years long post graduation course related to management. There are various streams of MBA. You can apply for: Finance Economics Banking IT Retail Management Human Resources Healthcare Management This is the choice that you will have to make. Ideally I would recommend Finance/Banking/Human Resources to you. But you are free to choose any stream that you like. For admission in Master of Business Administration you will have to appear for entrance exams. There are various exams but the most popular ones are: CAT MAT XAT GMAT If possible you should apply for CAT or Common Admission Test. This is your ticket to the best MBA colleges in India known as the IIMs. To sit in CAT you will need to meet some requirements. Eligibility 1. A graduation degree from a recognized university. 2. At least 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. SC/ST candidates need 45 percent marks. Alternatively you can appear for Management Aptitude Test. Good thing about MAT is that there is no percentage requirement. |
