SBI is one of the top public sector bank in India.

SBI will take a minimum of 1 year gap between 1 notification and another notification.

Generally for Clerical positions, SBI will recruit in bulk numbers like in the range of 10k-15k.

For PO positions, the numbers are a little less like 1k-3k.

The entry level positions in SBI are
Clerks
Probationary Officers

The selection procedure for these positions will be
Written Exam
Interview

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories
Reasoning
Numerical Ability
General Awareness
General English
Computer Knowledge

There is negative marking for the wrong answer questions in the written exam.

You have to score minimum qualifying marks in each of the categories of the written exam to get through it.

As per eligibility,

You should have completed Graduation with any of the stream to apply for Clerical positions where as to apply for PO positions, you should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in Graduation.

Have good preparation for the written exam and crack it.

Wish you all the best.

Sorry, one can apply for bank exams only when the candidate is in the final year or completed final year in graduation without any backlogs
Yes,you can appear just to check the question paper pattern and caliber being in second year but if the candidate clear the test ,score card wont be accepted or valid or consider.
