B.Ed stands for Bachelor of Education. The duration of this course is one year. It is a teacher's training course which is pursued by those candidates interested in pursuing career in teaching and related fields. The one year course consists of two semesters. The first semester lasts for 16 weeks and the second one for 18 weeks.

-To pursue this course you need to have a bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice from a recognized university with not less than 50% of marks.
-You can sit for the various state level entrance exams that are conducted by universities and independent educational bodies.
-There is no age limit for this course.
-After completing B.Ed you can also do Master in Education or M.Ed from various universities.

Since you have specifically asked about the age limits of the two exams so we will be keeping our discussion limited to the age criteria only.

-See, for BTC exam-
the age limit is from 18 years to 30 years.

The is for General category students.
For OBC- +2 years
For SC/ST- +5 years
For Differently Abled- No age limit.

-Likewise if we discuss for B.ed exam,
then the minimum age for B.Ed is 18 years and there is no upper age limit for any category candidate.
But generally most of the candidates who decides to go for B.Ed are in the age range of 21-35 years.
