Age criteria of Judiciary exam for SC category?


Hi, I am going to be 35 and of SC category. Recently I have joined LLB although I am an MBA, but now got interested in Judiciary services. I'll be 37 by the completion of my LLB. Please tell me being a SC candidate, would I be able to appear for Judiciary exam in my 37 or 38 year of age.

Hello,

The upper age limit as decided by most of the state judicial services is 42 and there is a relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes(SC).Considering your age you will be eligible for the examination.

As per the eligibility criteria, candidate must have age limit within 21 to 35 years for general category and relaxation of 5 years is given to scheduled caste and Scheduled tribe categories and 3 years relaxation to OBC categories.

Age criteria of Judiciary exam for SC candidates

To write the exams related to Judiciary services the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility requirements:-

The candidate should have minimum educational qualification of Bachelors Degree in law i.e. LLB.

The candidate must have passed with at least 50% marks from a recognised university or institutions.

Age criteria :-

The minimum age limit is 23 years and maximum age limit 35 years.

The upper age limit shall be released by 5 years in case of candidates belonging to the SC / ST / OBC and woman candidates.

The upper age limit for the persons serving in connection with the affairs of the state shall be 40 years.

Eligibility criteria for Judiciary exam:-

> Candidate must be Indian.

> Candidate must have bachelor's degree in law (LLB) from recognised University.

> Age criteria:-

- minimum age criteria is 23 years.
- maximum age criteria is 35 years.

- Upper age limit shall be relaxed by 5 year for candidate belonging to Sc / St / OBC and women candidates.

Age criteria to apply for Judiciary exam:

Minimum age should not be less than 21.

Maximum should not exceed 35 years where as relaxation of 5 years is given to SC and ST candidates and 3 years to OBC candidates.

Eligibility for judiciary exam:-

Candidate must have passed a bachelor of law degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.

Age criteria:-

Candidate age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 40 years.Upper age limit is relax upto 5 years for SC categories.
