My daughter is 3 years and 6 month in Mar 2016, i got admission in lower kg in Mumbai. Please check there will be no problem in future and law or rules are passed. Can she will be admitted in std I as some school are taking 4 yrs completed on Mar 2016

The minimum age required for your child to get admission in LKG in CBSE school is 3 years 6 months and for admission in first standard in CBSE school, the minimum age required is 5 years 6 months. If you can join your child in first standard at the age of 4 years then, she may face age shortage problem while applying for CBSE 10th standard board examinations.

Your child is eligible after May month to get admitted in LKG. To admit your child in class 1 your child must be of 5 years. If less than that child is not eligible for admission in class 1 according to age criteria determined by schools.
