Age factor for admission into 9th standard in a school affiliated to CBSE?

My son D.O.B is 13/05/2006 and he is studying 8th standard (2018-19). As per age factor, is he eligible to continue for 9th and 10th standard in 2019 and 2020 respectively in CBSE curriculum?

First thing I would like to let you know that the age criteria for CBSE school admissions suggests that the candidate's age must be at least 13 years as on 1st October of that year in which he/she got admitted to his/her Class 9th.

So, being born on 13.05.2006, your son is admission to Class 9th in the academic session 2019-20, as his age will cross 13 years by the 1st October 2019 as per the requirement.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
