Sir I want to ask that my son dob is 7-9-2003 is studying in 8th standard(2015-16) session. Next year in 9th standard he will get admission in school or not because his age will be 12 years and 7 months only and wants admission in a CBSE school.

The minimum required for the candidate to get admission in 9th standard of CBSE school is 13 years 6 months as on 31st March of the year of admission. Since, your son is only 12 years and 7 months old, he is not eligible to get admission in 9th standard under CBSE school.

As per the d.o.b you are eligible to get admission in 9th std in CBSE school.

A candidate must have minimum 14.5 years of age in class 10th CBSE. According to this a candidate must have minimum 13 years of age in class 9th.
