AGE limit to apply for AIIMS, JIPMER, MGIMS, BHU entrance tests for admission to MBBS course are as follows: -

Eligibility: -

1. Pass 10+2 exam or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology with a minimum 50 % aggregate marks from a regonised institute / university.

2. Nationality - Indian

3. Age - 18 Years to 21 Year

Eligibility Criteria: (i) Candidates who have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English securing a minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe
candidates) aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English or whose results of Class-XII are likely to be declared by 7th July, 2011 are eligible to apply. (ii) The candidate should have attained the age of 17 (seventeen) years as on 31st December, 2011.

The Upper Age limit for the candidate applying should be 25 years on the 31st December 2011 for general category candidate and 30 years for candidates of Schedule caste and Schedule Tribe.

For JIPMER Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research)

Age Limit: Candidate should be at least 17 years in age on the 31st October of the year of examination and there is no upper age limit.

For AIIMS:

Minimum 17yrs AND NO UPPER AGE LIMIT . Those appearing in the final exams of 12th class in 2011 can also apply for this exam.

For BHU(BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY):

Age Limit - Between 17-25 years as on 31st December, 2011.

There are many MEDICAL ENTRANCES EXAM and most of them have their different criteria for the admission of candidates into the courses.

Eligibility for Medical entrances:

• The candidate must pass the 10+2 in any recognized board.
• The candidate need to attain 17 years of age.
• There is no upper age limit

Minimum age is 17 years as on 12 december in that particular year,and maximum age as per aipmt-all india pre-medical test is 25 years beyond which you are not eligible to attempt the examinations.
