Hello friends, I want to apply in PGT recruitment of this year. Kindly let me know about the age limit to apply in this recruitment. Please let me know immediately.

CBSE conducts CTET examination for recruitment as PGT ( Post Graduate Teacher ) in government schools.

There is no age limit to appear for examination.

The required educational qualification to appear for examination is :

Candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university.

Candidate must have B.Ed degree from a recognised institute or university.

The maximum age limit for recruitment of PGT teacher in the government CBSE affiliated school is 35 years for General Category candidates. The minimum age limit is 18 years.

The upper age limit is relaxed for OBC candidates by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates. So, the maximum age limit for OBC candidates is 38 years for SC/ST candidates, it is 40 years.

PGT is Post Graduate Teacher and for recruitment in government schools candidates have to appear and qualify for CTET or STET examination.

The required minimum educational qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed master degree from a recognised university. There is no age limit to appear for CTET examination.

PGT stands for Post Graduate Teacher.

Eligibility criteria:

Master's degree in any discipline from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

Maximum age limit is 40 years.

Relaxation is available for reserved category.
