my birth date is 8th july 1992, m i liable to give the nda exam which is to be held in august 2011?

As per the UPSC "Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1992 and not later than 1st January,1995 are eligible".

Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status :
A candidate must be an unmarried male and have attained the age of 16 1/2 years and must not have attained the age 19 years on the 1st January or 1st of July of the year succeeding the year of examination. Candidates must not marry until they complete their full training. A candidate who marries subsequent to the date of his application, though successful will not be selected for training. A candidate who marries during training shall be discharged and will be liable to refund all expenditure incurred on him by the Government. |

then you are eligible for this exam .......this exam is conducted by UPSC. for more information you visit www.upsc.gov.in............. this exam is held twice in a year in which first exam is in April and 2nd exam is held in August.......... |

NDA exams are commencing twice in a year i.e NDA-1 & NDA -2
As last date for NDA-1 is gone and the date of exam is 17 April 2011 But as per your age you was eligible for NDA-1 . Eligibility for NDA-2 : Only Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 June 1993 and not later than 1 January 1996 are eligible. So you are not eligible. |

As per the eligibility criteria for NDA 2011, "Only unmarried candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1993 and not later than 1st July,1995 are eligible "
As your date of birth will not come under the above mentioned period, you will not be eligible to appear for the exam. Other eligibility criteria is as follows Educational qualifications: -A candidate should need to have a pass in 12th either in 10+2 pattern or equivalent conducted by the state education board -The candidates appearing for the qualifying examination will also be eligible. Nationality: -The candidate should be either of Indian, or a subject of Bhutan or Nepal or Tibetan refusee. |

you have to be 16 half to 19 half years of age and Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July 1992 are eligible for this NDA EXAM on 22.08.2010 ..sorry you are not eligible..and not for further NDA exam.. and must have passed 12 or appearing for final results. and minimum acceptable hieght for NDA is 157.5 cm and this exam conduct twice a year whose notification come in employement newspaper!! |

Age limit for NDA by UPSC is from16 1/2 YEARS to 19 YEARS and Only the candidate under this age limit are eligible for the NDA.
Also for NDA II(august 2011) candidate date of birth should not be earlier than 2 nd June, 1993 and not later than 1st January 1996 . and since your date of birth is 8th July 1992,therefore you are not eligible for exams due to over age according to given criteria. |

For NDA I 2012 - Age must be In between 16-half to 19 years,And should not Born earlier than 2nd January 1994 and Not later than 1st July 1996 For NDA II 2012 - Age must be In between 16-half to 19 years & Should Not Born earlier than 2nd July 1994 and not later than 1st January 1996 Educational Qualification - It will be same as Every year.i.e 10+2 Students from any stream if applying for Army wing But if students are applying for Air force Wing & naval Wing then 10+2 with physics & Maths as a Compulsory Subjects. |

i am happy to inform u that for now ur eligible to apply for NDA exam... the age limit for the nda exam is from 16 to 19... some other criteria required for it are as follows.. --U should pass class 12 with minimum of 60%.. -citizen of india,nepal,bhuta,tibetan..can apply for that exam.. --u should be physically fit for more detail u can log in to www.upsc.gov.in.. i hope these information is helpful. thank you... |
