My daughter's DOB is 27/11/2003 & presently she is in 9th Class(session 2016-2017). And next year (session 2017-2018) she will be in 10th class. So is she is eligible to appear in CBSC 10th Board written Exam in session 2017-2018. Pls reply soon as possible.

Being born on 27 November 2003 and pursuing her Class 9th in the current academic session i.e; 2016-2017 which means your daughter is going to appear in his CBSE Class 10th board examination in the March 2018 and by this her age will be 14 years and 3 months which in not enough to satisfy the new age criteria for appearing in the board examination.

As per the new circular, a student must be at least 14 years and 5 months older at the time of his board examination i.e; by the March of that year in which he/she is going to appear in the board examination.

So your daughter is not eligible for appearing in the CBSE Class 10th board examination 2018 with this age criteria.

A candidate must have minimum 14 years of age to give class 10th exam in CBSE.
When your daughter will be in class 10th than she will eligible to give 10th exam.

There is no any maximum age limit criteria. Only minimum age limit criteria has defined by CBSE.
