Re: Can I apply for JEE Main in 2016, 2017 and 2018?
No, you are not eligble to appear in the JEE examination in the 2016, 2017 and 2018. You are only eligible to appear in the 2016 and 2017.
JEE stands for the Joint Entrance Examination and is conducted by the CBSE every year. The eligibility to appear for the examination is candidates must have passed or appearing in the board examination with the PCM as the main subject. So know after appearing in the 2015 for the board examination you can only attempts for the JEE Mains in 2016 and 2017 where as for the Advance in 2016. The application form for the examination is available in the month of November and the candidates after qualifying in the Mains are eligible for the Advance. |

Yes, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main 2036, 2017 and 2018 examinations after completion of your 12th standard in 2016. Candidates who have completed 12th standard in 2016 are eligible to appear in JEE main examination in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Since, you are going to complete your 12th standard in 2016, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main examination in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and JEE Advanced examination in 2016 and 2017.

Re: Can I apply for JEE Main in 2016, 2017 and 2018?
Full form of JEE is Joint Entrance Examination and it is an engineering entrance examination held by CBSE once every year for the selection of deserving applicants for their bachelor degree course in technical field from top government engineering colleges of India such as IIT, ISM, IIIT & NIT.
The examination is conducted in two stages. First stage is called as JEE Main where as stage second is known as JEE Advance. The minimum eligibility required for appearing in the same examination are as following :- --> You must have done your higher secondary degree or pursuing the final year of same with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects with at least 50% aggregate in each from a recognized board of education. --> Your age must be within 17 years to 25 years till the 31st December of that year in which you are appearing in the same examination. * The maximum attempt provided for clearing the JEE is three consecutive attempts starting from the year in which you are appearing in your 12th board examination. Since you have applied for JEE 2015 so it will be counted as one of the unsuccessful attempt of yours and hence you are left with two more attempts i.e; JEE 2016 & JEE 2017. Now you could not cancel your JEE 2015 application form as the examination and results are declared. For more details regarding the syllabus, question pattern and notifications about the same examination you can log on the link www.jeemain.nic.in. |

Re: Can I apply for JEE Main in 2016, 2017 and 2018?
No if you have given your 12th standard exam in 2015 then the 3 attempts of JEE Mains for you can be in the years 2015,2016,2017 as there are 3 attempts for JEE Mains.
Similarly as there are only 2 attempts for JEE Advanced the years in which you can give them are 2015 and 2016. The exams must be given in consecutive years after your 1st attempt at the 12th standard board exams. |
