You are eligible, as you have passed PG with a minimum of 50% marks. Graduation with a minimum of 50% marks is the qualification specified for B.Ed. But PG holders with a minimum of 45% marks can also apply. Admission is usually made through entrance exams. Universities like Pune University and Delhi University conducts entrance test for admission.

Sure you are eligible. But before you apply for the Bachelor of Education, I want to say that if you belong to SC/ST then you should apply for NET since your aim is teaching job.

After completing Bachelor of Education you will apply for the school teaching job however by appearing for the National Eligibility Test you can get college lectureship job.

But as I mentioned earlier, it can only happen if you belong to SC/ST. Because your marks are not enough to apply as General/OBC for the National Eligibility Test. The criteria actually is 55 percent in post graduation which is cut down to 50 percent for the SC/ST.

Anyway if you are not eligible then go with the Bachelor of Education. This is one year long course in which you will be trained to teach certain subjects to the students.

Since you belong to Arts stream, Geography, History and Languages will be your subjects in the Bachelor of Education course.

You don't need to worry about marks in graduation since you are meeting the criteria in post graduation course.

B.ED Eligibility

1. You should at least have graduation degree.

2. 50 percent marks in the qualifying degree.

3. 45 percent marks are required for OBC.

4. The requirement is 40 percent for SC/ST.

5. Your educational pattern should be 10+2+3.

After completing Bachelor of Education you can appear for the entrance exams for teaching job. Central Teachers Eligibility Test will be ideal for you.

No you are not eligible for B.Ed course. You have to need at-least 50% marks in graduation & 55% marks in post graduation.

If you belong to SC/ST category then you have must at-least 45% marks in graduation & 50% marks in Post graduation.

There are also a entrance test which is conducted for the B.Ed course. It is a 2 years degree course. After completing B.ed you can get job as a Teacher in Govt. schools or colleges.

Age limitation doesn't matter.

B.Ed is two year bachelor degree course in education and is necessary for candidates who are interested in recruitment as teacher in government schools.

Yes, you will be eligible to pursue B.Ed course after completion of graduation course. The minimum required qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recongised university with minimum 50%.

Candidates after master degree can also appear for examination if they have scored 50% in master's degree.
