hello sir,
i am final year b.e student and i have 57.68% aggregate till 6th sem, and waiting for 7th sem result. i want to know is i am ELIGIBLE for BANK PO EXAM please explain me details???

can final year student apply for SBI PO exam 2013 ? I will get my degree done by June 2013.

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for Bank PO Exam because you are in final year of BE degree.Final year candidate are not eligible for Bank PO Exam.

If you once completed graduation degree then you are eligible to attend in Bank PO Exam of SBI , IBPS and ICICI . SBI and IBPS PO exam not require any kind of percentage marks .But ICICI PO required 55% in graduation marks.

For IBPS and SBI PO exam , Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years old.For ICICI PO , The age criteria is 21 to 35 years old .

The written exam consists of questions from the following categories -Reasoning , Quantitative Aptitude , General Awareness ,General English, Computer knowledge .

Sorry to say that you are not eligible for SBI PO examination at present time.

The eligibility criteria required for SBI PO examination are prescribed as below:-

* Completion of graduation in any discipline from any recognised college or university.

* Age limit- 21-30 yrs.

* Age relaxation- 3 yrs for OBC and 5 yrs for SC/ST contendors.

* No. of attempts- 4 for General, 7 for OBC and no limits for SC/ST contendors.

* Nationality- Indian.

Bank PO exams for 19 nationalised banks are conducted by IBPS.

The eligibility criteria for IBPS Bank PO exam are-

Graduation from a recognized university. ( Final year students can apply )

Minimum age is 20 years

Maximum age is 30 years.

I'm sorry to say but you are not eligible of giving the PO exam because the minimum percentage required for giving this exam is 65% a relaxation of 5% is given to the sc/st candidates.

You can not join bank po exam.
ELIGIBILITY OF BANK PO EXAM-
You have a graduate degree from a approved university.
Age limit- 21 to 30 years.This may be relexed upto 5 yefor reserved categories.
You can apply through IBPS common bank PO exam and also in SBI Bank PO examination.
Upkar's Bank PO guide is also a good book.You can prefer it.

P.O. - Probationary Officer, to become P.O. of a bank one has to crack its exam generally conducted by SBI and IBPS for 19 Public sector banks.

The eligible candidate must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good knowledge over computer operation.

So being a candidate from final year B.E. one is not eligible to apply for P.O. Exam , to appear for P.O. exam one has to complete Graduation in any stream.

NO, you are NOT ELIGIBLE TO Apply for the BANK PO exams.

Below is the eligibilty to apply for the BANK PO exams:

IBPS BANK PO EXAMS- Min Eligibilty is Graduation Pass with Minimum 60% marks
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations


SBI BANK PO EXAMS- Min Eligibilty is Graduation Pass
Age should be between 21 and 30 years
OBC gets 3 years and SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

So, Complete your Graduation and than apply for the BANK PO exams.

SBI has already announced its vacancy for 1500 PO posts for the year 2013

The Bank PO exam is conducted by various banks and they are conducted based on the vacancy of the post.

The Bank PO stands for the post of Probationary Officer.Being a Final year candidate you are eligible for applying for the Bank PO exam as per the education qualification which is needed for the exam.

The education qualification needed for the Bank PO exam is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university and it can be from any discipline.

The other criteria's which are to be satisfied along with the education qualification are:

>> The Nationality standard for the exam states that the candidate appearing for the exam must have a Citizenship in India

>> The Age limit needed for the exam is that the candidate must have age limit of 21-30 years

>> There are certain upper age relaxation for other categories.


If you are going to satisfy all these above mentioned criteria's then you can apply for the Bank PO exam in the respected bank which you wish for.

1.IBPS PO exam
2.SBI PO exam
