Re: Am I eligible for CLAT exam after passing B.Com final year
The minimum educational qualification required to attend Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is passing of 10+2 or equivalent with 45% of marks (40% for SC/ST). Age should not be more than 20 years as on the date of examination prescribed by the authorities. SC/ST students will get age relaxation of 2 years. A graduate in commerce can also apply for LLB. For attending the CLAT for post graduate programme LLM candidate should pass LLB. The details can be collected from concerned law colleges.

Re: Am I eligible for CLAT exam after passing B.Com final year
It does not matter whether you are eligible or not. I would not recommend you to apply for the Common Law Admission Test. Since you are pursing Bachelor of Commerce, I will suggest you to complete it and then apply for 3 years LLB course.
With Common Law Admission Test, you can apply for only 5 years LLB course. There is no point for you to go for that course. Since you have completed graduation, 5 years LLB makes no sense. The 5 years LLB course which is often referred as integrated LLB or BA LLB course has a Bachelor's degree integrated with the LLB course. So that courses offered are BA LLB, B.Com LLB etc. But since you have already completed graduation, there is no point going for it. You should instead apply for the 3 years LLB course. There is no sense is doing a graduation degree again since you have already completed Bachelor of Commerce. Unfortunately the 3 years LLB course is not offered through Common Law Admission Test. It is only for the integrated course. You should instead consider entrance exams by Delhi University or Banaras Hindu University for the admission in LLB, 3 years course. LLB Eligibility 1. Student should first pass graduation. 2. Must obtain 45 percent to 50 percent marks in graduation. 3. There is relaxation of 5 percent for SC/ST. 4. In DU there is no marks criteria for SC/ST. 5. Marks or age relaxation is not offered to OBC. 6. Should be less than 30 years to apply for LLB. 7. There is 5 years relaxation for SC and ST. |

Re: Am I eligible for CLAT exam after passing B.Com final year
Hi,
Common Law Admission Test is conducted to provide admission to Law courses in top law colleges of India. After qualifying this you can take admission in LLB or LLM courses. Eligibility criteria for both are however different. They are as under: CLAT Eligibility for BA-LLB: You should have qualified Intermediate (10+2) or its equivalent from a recognized Board more than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).If you are waiting result you can also give the exam provided you can give your final year mark sheet at the time of admission. Maximum age is 20 years. (22 years for SC/ST and PWD). CLAT Eligibility for LLM: You should have a degree in LLB/BA LLB with minimum 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/OBC and PWD).If you are awaiting your result then also you can apply. Since you have done your graduation in commerce , you to give CLAT for LLB courses. Best of luck! |

as you have completed 2 years of your graduation and now you are in final years it would be better for you to complete your graduation and then apply for 3 year llb cousre , eligibility criteria for clat : must be having minimum 50% in class 12th minimum requirement is class 12th pass age limit should not be more than 20 years , 2 years relaxation for sc/st candidates and no relaxation for obc candidates if you are within the age limit then you can apply for clat but remember your graduation degree will be a waste of time for you, so try to go for llb of 3 years, clat is a objective type exam of 200 marks good luck |
