To get admission in Law course then you have to scored minimum 50% Marks in you 12Th examination or in your Graduation. If you have completed your 12th examination from a recognized board with minimum 50% Marks, then you are eligible for Take Admission in Bachelor in Law.

To take admission in top law university, you have to appeared and cracked the CLAT Entrance examination.

CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test and it is an all India entrance examination conducted by 14 National Law Schools/Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes.

To apply for BA LLB Course, then you have to complete your Intermediate examination with minimum 50% marks, final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this examination.

Five year LLB program eligibility criteria is:-

you have to pass the 10+2 exam with minimum 50% marks

Age should be below 21 years

You can give the CLAT exam or the state law entrance exam to study LLB.

The candidate must have passed the B.A / BSc / B.com degree with a minimum aggregate of 40% for admission in LLB. However a relaxation of 5 % is given to the schedule caste and schedule tribe candidates. It means the must have passed with 35% aggregate marks.

This is a three years course divided in 6 semesters.
The candidate must also have good communication skill and presentation skill.

The Lawyers are further categorized as criminal lawyer and civil lawyer.
Criminal Lawyer manages the case of robber murder etc. while civil lawyer handles the cases related to human rights.
