I am student of b.com final year (2011-12).. Nd i want to do llb after my graduation. When did the clat exams held in 2012 nd when i apply for this?

CLAT exam is generally held in mid of may. LAst year it was held on 15th of may.

Eligibility:
To be eligible to appear for CLAT-2011, a candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).~ Candidates who have appeared in the 10+2 examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to appear in the test.° Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)~ as on 1st July, 2011.
*Offered by NUJS, NLU Jodhpur and GNLU.
**Bachelor in Political Science, offered by NLU Jodhpur.
^Offered by GNLU, a new course, BSL (Bachelor of Social Welfare and Policy is under consideration to be introduced).
° The candidate must have passed the qualifying examination at the time of his/her admission and be able to submit its proof.
~ Subject to State reservation at the University concerned.

The date of CLAT-2012 has not been announced yet.

The date of exam should fall around the date which was occupied last year.

The notification for the CLAT 2011 was available from January 2011.

The last date of submission of application was 2nd April 2011.

The CLAT-2011 was conducted on 15th May 2011 and admission process completed
on 25th June.

You can expect similar dates for the upcoming CLAT i.e. CLAT 2012.

some important dates for CLAT-2012:-

-- Issue of application forms from all CLAT-2011 members universities and specified branches of State Bank of India From 11th January , 2011

-- Last date for submission of filled-in entrance examination application forms 02nd April, 2011 (Friday)

-- Issue of Hall Tickets to the candidates from – 12 April, 2011 (Tuesday)

-- Date of admission test for UG/PG 15th May, 2011 (Sunday) From 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon.

-- Publication of CLAT 2011 result – 28 May 2011 (Saturday)



-- Completion of admission process – 28 June, 2011 (Tuesday)

9. Commencement of classes 1st July 2011


Eligibility:
-- For the under-graduate (LL.B) programme - To be eligible to appear for CLAT-2011, you should have passed Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability)*.
--Age should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)* as on 1st July, 2011.

CLAT (Common Law Admission Test)

CLAT Exam Date :

The CLAT 2011 has already been done on May 15, 2011. Date for next Year exam is not yet declare.

How To Apply:

• The Brochure along with OMR Application Form will be sold at Rs. 150/- from different post offices throughout India and at the eleven National Law Universities.
• Duly filled OMR application form along with Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque/ Pay order of Rs. 2500/- (Rs. 2000/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of “WBNUJS-CLAT A/C”, payable at Kolkata and necessary documents as mentioned in the OMR application form and on CLAT website (www.clat.ac.in) can be submitted from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on all working days to the Convenor, CLAT-2011 either in person or sent through registered post to the below mentioned address.
