Am I eligible for CSIR exam after MSc Biotechnology? How to prepare for CSIR exam? Any books available for preparation?

I'm studying First year M.Sc Biotechnology. I willing to write CSIR examination. When I'm eligible to write this exam? How to prepare for this CSIR exam? Any specialized book availaible for my preparation? If so, Mention the books name and its publications...
