Re: Eligibility for CSIR and Integrated Ph.D?
The eligibility for CSIR as well as for Integrated Ph.D are given as follows. The requirements to be eligible for CSIR are,B.E/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS/Integrates BS-MS/M.Sc/BS-4 years or else the equivalent degree is eligible for this. For this to be eligible for CSIR you must have obtained a minimum of 55% in Academics. This is for only General and OBC candidates. So for the reserved candidates SC/ST/Physically and Visually handicapped candidates there is a relaxation of 5%,So 50% of marks.
Candidates with the M.Sc qualification are also eligible for this.or else 10+2+3 years completed graduates eligible for the examination.Candidates with the Bachelor degree, whether science,or engineering or else any other discipline will be eligible for the Felloship examination. The eligibility for the National Eligibility Test is subject to fill the criteria by University Grants Commission. There is no upper age limit for the Lectureship for the candidates.Whereas for the candidates appearing for the Junior Research Fellow, age must not exceed 28 years. But Of course there will be relaxation to the reserved candidates. For Integrated Ph.D degree the Minimum qualification for Ph.D is B.E/B.Tech/M.Sc in Physics,M.Tech/M.E or its equivalents science streams/Engineering streams/Medical degree courses which require 4 or more universities of the Training. So along with that you must have qualified in an entrance examination to get admission.Various examinations are such as Graduate Aptitutude Test in Engineering,TIFR,JEST or CSIR University Grants Commission National Eligible Test. |
