hi, im persuing msc biotechnology.Am i eligible to do phd in marine biotechnology if so please suggest me career oppertunities in this field.

Marine Biotechnology has wider scope in the current emerging scenario of environmental studies. You need to score minimum 55 per cent for the admission. You need to complete your Masters level education in similar subject. According to UGC rules, candidate needs to clear the entrance exam NET and interview for getting admitted for Ph.D program. During the Ph.D program, they need to complete course work for requisite credits. There are some universities that allows exception to this rule for engineers and doctors who have pursued B.E./B.Tech or M.B.B.S. Candidates need to complete credits through coursework, a formal proposal of synopsis devised with consultation of the guide.
