i am a student of commerce background and now i am completing my BCA with no maths and may i eligible for doing MCA in BIT Mesra.

ELIGIBLITY CRITERIA FOR MCA IN BIT MESRA:

Candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in class 10 with minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average.

Candidates must have passed in all subjects in which they have appeared in class 12 with minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average.


Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of any of the universities AIU. This degree must entail a minimum of three years of education (10+2+3 system) after completing higher secondary schooling (class 12 or equivalent)


Candidates with BCA must have minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in their honors subject. Candidates of BCA or other graduate courses must have minimum 60% (45% for SC/ST) marks in average in graduation, marks to be computed as average of marks obtained in all subjects in which candidate has appeared (excluding optional subjects).


Candidates appearing for final examinations of their Bachelor’s programme in 2010 can also apply, provided they have obtained 60% marks or equivalent (45% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) based on latest available grades/marks at the time of applying, and if selected can join the programme provisionally.

Dear Sir,

My son is persuing BCA in final year from MAIMST, Jaipur and result will come in the month of June 2011. Secondly, he has passed 12th standard without maths but he appeared in separate exam conducted by NOIS, Delhi for which result likely to come in the month of June/July 2011. I would like to know about the number of seats and Management quota, if any at Jaipur branch.

Kindly advise wheather my son is eligible for admission.

And in 10+ 2, I have achieved 57% (Having Mathematics as optional subject) and in 10th I have 58%.
And I belongs to OBC Category.
Sir, kindly help me that am I eligible for the BIT Mesra 2012 MCA.

And in 10+ 2, I have achieved 62% (Having I.com as optional subject) and in 10th I have 55%.
And I belongs to OBC Category.

u shud have 60% in graduation and 60% in the best 4 subjects of class 12th...... if ur % is 58 or something in 12th and in any 4 subject your % is going above 60........ then only you can apply for BITs MCA otherwise your form will be rejected
means if u dont have 60% overall but you have that in any 4 subjects including maths......... then you are eligible

you need following eligibility for admission in MCA :

--you should be citizen of india
--you must have pass 12th class from any stream with MATHS as compulsory subjects
--you must be graduate with atleat 3 yrs degree
--those who are in their final year can also apply for MCA

--means you need to have maths as compulsory subject according to new rules

How much % i want for taking in bca of bit mesra

Can i get admission in BIT in mca course without having maths in 12 and in BCA.
