I dont think that you get admission in MCA without maths in 10+2. In JNU and Delhi University only that students are eligible who have maths in 10+2. So, thats the reason why you are not eligible. But dont worry dear its not impossible any thing in this world. If you are interested then apply in any of the distance learning university. You will get admission in MCA without MATHS in 10+2. Good luck |

Re: Eligibility for MCA after BCA without having maths in 10+2?
Hello friend,
I don't think without maths as compulsory subject, you can go for MCA. As maths is a main subject in MCA, and one have to be strong in maths, you can't pursue MCA. Once you have passed 10(+2) without maths, there are no options further to give maths exam again. so i regret that you can't opt for MCA. Good luck! |

Dear Friend
As a bca student you must have mathes in the 10+2 level,as you are saying that you do not have maths in the +2 level,i do not think you will get admission in MCA in JNU. The eligibility for MCA is,graduate with 50-60% marks in the last qualifying exam along with Maths at +2 level . |

Re: Eligibility for MCA after BCA without having maths in 10+2?
Dear friend
Yes definately Maths is compulsory in 12th exams ! If you have maths in your 12th exams, then you are eligible for MCA, otherwise you cannot do MCA from top universities like DU, JNU. But if you have a CS in 12th Or either in your graduation then you are eligible for MCA. Manny university will offers this course, if you have CS subject in your 12th Or in your graduation. But if you dont have Maths and CS, then you are not eligible for MCA and you will not get admission in any University of India.......... |

In fact you can't think a logic for a program without maths. maths is the root subject for computer based student either studying BCA ,MCA, COMPUTER SCIENCE(HNS),COMPUTER SC ENGG. So i don't think so that you will get admission in such good university without having mathematics. I m really very sorry my friend!!!! You many option apart from MCA you can go for MBA and after MBA you will get good job and earned much money than MCA holder student.; good wishes. |

Re: Eligibility for MCA after BCA without having maths in 10+2?
For getting admission in top Indian university for MCA math is compulsory in 12th class. If you don’t have math then sorry you are not eligible but you can get admission in MCA through your BCA degree.
If this can possible then you can take your math exam by NIOS of 12th class. But before applying this you should contact to JNU, DU MCA department. |

Re: Eligibility for MCA after BCA without having maths in 10+2?
To join in MCA in any university the basic eligibility is to have maths as a compulsory subject in 12th std or in graduation. As you had maths as the subject in your graduation you are eligible for doing MCA in any university you wish.

Re: Eligibility for MCA after BCA without having maths in 10+2?
according to ICET the minimum criteria for appear in MCA\BCA you must have maths in 10+2 examination, with minimum percentage of 60% . if you have not maths , i dont think you are eligible for doing MCA from any reputed or governmental colleges. but there is possibility , you apply for distance learning from private institutes.
