i m dong bca final year from pune university. i wanted to do MCA but i don't have maths in 12th standard. i am good in programming.am i eligible for MCA.

u r eligible for m.c.a.For taking admission in m.c.a their is an entrance exam and on the basis of the marks in ur entrance exam give ranks to each candidates.on the basis of dt rank u can take admission in particular institute.
also,some universities run m.c.a correspondance also .from correspondance also no need of mathematics in 2.

To take admission you Should be a pass in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level or should have passed the Bachelor's Degree with a subject of MATHS but maths should be there either in graduation level or +2 level....
so for MCA maths is compulsory..so if you don't had it in +2 level but it must be in your graduation level..

HELLO,you are in bca & want to join mca as your master degree, but as there is an compulary situation that one must have 12th qualified with maths.no problem take the 12th maths paper from the same board(whether cbse or state board) you have qualified yor 12th exam.attach the qualified result of the maths paper with yor 12th marksheet & show the document in the counselling when asked.remember if there is a will there is a way.

sorry .. you are not eligible because the eligibility criteria for taking admission in this particular course are to have a bachelor degree in any of the streams like BCA, B.Tech, BBA and B.Sc. The applying students should also have mathematics as a subject in 10+2 level. There is no age bar regarding the admission in MCA degree.

yes you are eligible to do MCA from some university because math in 12th are compulsory to get admission in some university.
but you will have to face some problem due to lack of knowledge in maths and you are good in programming than no problem you can complete MCA.

hi
i think certain universities require pre requisite qualification. but others like PTU Jalandhar (Distance) do not require pre requisite and accept graduate in any disciple. You can choose university which suit you. You can do MCA.

If u want to do MCA in science then it should necessary u should have maths.else u can take MCA management.in any institute.both have same scope

1-I have completed my Hsc in science without maths from Solapur Maharashtra.I want to pursue an education in Information Technology(IT) . Can anybody please give me information about BCA , MCA, Btech.I am little confused ,after BCA(3yrs) I will need to give entrance exam for MCA then MCA for 3 years and then Btech for 3 years.Its so confusing , can anybody pls explain me how it works?

Sorry you are not eligible for MCA without opting MATHS in 12th...you need to do first BCA and then MCA...MCA is good course and if you complete these courses with good marks and then you will get 100% job placement.....

Yes you are eligible to do MCA, as you have done BCA at your graduation level.

Mathematics is only necessary when you dont have BCA at your graduation level and you want to do MCA.

As you are pursuing BCA, there's no bar for you, you can do MCA.

Yes you are eligible if you can do BCA...... after BCA you can easily get admission in MCA ........but if you cannot do BCA then you will not got direct admission in MCA because it is necessary to have maths in class 12th for MCA........ but if you can do BCA then you will get easily admission in MCA.... it is a professional course and then you will get a good job in software companies........

yes you are eligible for MCA although you don't have mathematics in 12th. as you get chance to do BCA then surely you will get chance to do MCA.

there are few university those give criterion that candidate should have mathematics in 12th to take admission in BCA or MCA. but few universities are also there which have no such criterion. you should take admission in such type of institution where no criterion is there regarding mathematics in 12th.

dear friend you can do MCA. for doing MCA you should have graduate degree from any recognize university. you did BCA so you can easily get admission in MCA.

Without mathematics this is difficult to study MCA. you must have maths as a main subject in class 12th for studying MCA courses from any reputed and recognized university.
However, some private colleges offers MCA degrees without mathematics. They just demand BCA degrees with an aggregate percentage of 60.
So, now you are in final year, then first complete BCA then apply for the MCA.

Yes you are eligible for MCA. YOu have the degree of BCA either BSC Its not matter you don't have mathmatics in 12th .there are few university those give criterion that candidate should have mathematics in 12th to take admission in BCA or MCA.

except for some universities which already demand maths as well

so you should try for the university which do not have any such criteirian.

There are not need mathematics in 12th class to take admission MCA as you have complited your BCA. According to eligibilety criteria you can tech admission MCA in any institution with the base of BCA result. You may appeared the institution conducted ther own entrance exam to get admission MCA.

Well! Generally its compulsory that one must have taken Maths as a subject in 10+2 if he/she wants to get admission in BCA/MCA. But as you've mentioned that you are pursuing BCA from Pune University then you can apply for futher MCA study.

Eligibilty Criteria:

1. Must Completed his BCA from recognized University with atleast 60% marks.

Or

2. Graduate in any stream from recognized University with atleast 60% marks and must read Maths as one of the subject in 10+2 level study.
