You can join BE computer engineering directly to second year after diploma. Most of the institutes consider 50% to 60% marks in diploma as qualification for lateral entry. Apart from this, candidate should complete the course from State/ central recognized board. They should study mathematics as a subject in plus two. Candidates will have to attend entrance test conducted by the institute. Final selection will be based on the scores obtained in entrance test and interview.
